Humanoid robotics is something I am interested in (probably due to my science fiction mania 😄). I tried to design something unique but of course I inspired by existing robots too. I have a few ideas with this robot in very different environments so I’m sure I’ll reuse it.
I gave up my principles and used some free models from blenderkit (backpack, armchair, books and stuff like that) but the main objects were made by me(like the robot, piano, hat, guitar, walkman, vinyl player, environment, etc…). Actually I started to do everything myself but quickly realised that this would be many months+😅. As always I used blender(cycles) and affinity photo for posteffects.
I didn’t use AI. Well it’s not true because gemini helped me a lot for example building a geometry node tree to scatter the dust particles onto the surface of anything. I mean this is AI stuff too… I don’t really like where we’re going with image generating AI stuff but I don’t lie, gemini can be very helpful about problem solving. By the way I only used it for troubleshoot some technical questions. I didn’t use it to generate concept images or anything like that and it was actually refreshing to just figuring out everything by myself, the composition, the lighting and enjoy the process like AI wouldn’t exist😄.
I hope you like it.
